LETTER: We now have two Americas
Did you ever wonder why the Democrats don’t want a special prosecutor to investigate the Benghazi incident or the IRS scandal? Gee, by some stretch of the imagination could they be responsible for all these scandalous problems?
Oh my God, what a revelation. On one hand we have the president saying there is not one smidgen of wrongdoing, and on the other hand Ms. Lois Lerner of the IRS taking the Fifth Amendment.
In addition, are you aware President Obama just signed the $1 trillion “farm bill” in which 80 percent of the cost comprises food stamps. More people are now receiving government benefits than are actually working in our country.
In 2009, we spent $38 billion, and in 2013 it’s up to $80 billion. Almost 13,000 people enroll in the food stamp program every day including illegals.
The fact is that we now have two Americas. One that works and one that doesn’t. We are currently being governed by a political power-hungry party that preaches hatred and greed more than its love of country. It betrays the people who support it by enslaving them in a culture of dependence through entitlement. Unless something changes we have 2.5 more years of this president and his failed policies. We’ll probably survive his reign of tyranny, but will we as a country be able to survive all the people (“takers”) that vote for such losers?
That’s why it’s so important to read what is written and listen to what is said about a candidate running for office as their philosophies will directly affect your life and the lives of your family … and don’t forget me. Only you can make a difference.
Here is an example of exactly what I’m referring to: Colo. Sen. Mark Udall is up for re-election next November. Please don’t vote for him. Why? Because he was the deciding vote in favor of Obamacare; He voted to strip us of our Second Amendment rights; he voted to raise our taxes, he voted for higher budget deficits, he favored taxpayer-funded bailouts; he favors the climate change scam; and he voted for amnesty for illegals. He does not represent our best interests.
He is nothing but a career politician more concerned about his own political agenda than the protection of our Republic. Sen. Udall is not part of the of the solution to our problems, he is part of the problem.
Believe it or not but our system of government was created to protect our rights, not infringe upon them. Somehow everything got turned upside down. Now go do the right thing.
