With the incessant litany of opinions and letters in support of the regressive tax, Ballot Issue 2A, characterized by some as “an intrepid plan,” “visionary” and a “moral obligation,” I am reminded of that famous quotation from Hamlet: “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”
