LETTER: Where is all the money going ?

According to all the ads on TV, in the papers, and on the ballot, only 43 percent of the taxes from Amendment 66 will go for grades K-12. What is happening to the other 47 percent?

I think it is high time that our elected politicians, man up and tell us how they intend to use more than $500 million in new taxes.

Looking at the taxes on the sale of pot — the first $40 million is to go for new school construction. Again, I want to know what new projects are our politicians going to waste our tax dollars on?

Until we get answers as to where and for what purpose this huge tax increase is going to be used, I believe we should vote no on Amendment 66.

Stop and think before you vote.
