Letter: Who was elected to represent HD57?

Bob Rankin, in his Post Independent June 1 Out from Under the DOME update states that he and his wife “Joyce … were honored to work in the historic Colorado Capitol building and see so many of our constituents that visit the Capitol.”

Is it customary for an elected official to hire his spouse to work alongside him? Is she a paid employee?

This appears to be a form of nepotism as he continues by writing, “We already visited schools … We have a fairly full calendar for the next month …”

Who was elected to represent Colorado House District 57, Bob or Joyce Rankin?
