Earth Day smiling faces

The first-grade class of Ms. Larsen¹s Elk Creek Elementary in New Castle was

full of smiling faces on Earth Day. One student, Denesa, is my friend since

I started tutoring her mother Violeta through Literacy Outreach six years

ago.

We planted flowers donated by Dwyer Greens & Flowers. This time was a

reminder how wonderful and full of hope this generation is and how fortunate

I was to get to spend time with them.
