Ready to pay a few pennies for Rifle youth

I was asked to pass along a “Rifle no more taxes” item from a local Facebook user.

Basically, if you know me I am a firm believer in the town of Rifle. Not too often do we get a chance to help our communities grow. We have to see the increase of our taxes for the Rifle Recreation Center as one of, if not the, best opportunity for not only Rifle BUT more importantly the youth of Rifle. So many times I and others that I know, say things like what has happened to our youth (no manners, no drive, no help, no respect and finally no place to go)?

A recreation center could be the driving force behind helping our youth start a real future. A recreation center would allow the youth of Rifle a place of safe haven, knowledge, develop teamwork, find drive, a future vision and finally HOPE that they do not have to hang out in areas of our town that basically they could and do get in trouble.

So, I ask the citizens of Rifle to think about this:

Can you not allow our youth to have less than a penny for every dollar you spend in Rifle?

So, in closing if you see me in town and need a few pennies to make up the difference on the tax just ask. I will try to keep a roll handy.
