Letter: We knew better
How do I know that 60 years ago the citizens of Glenwood Springs and their elected representatives were smarter than those of today? Before the existing old Grand Avenue bridge was replaced, a temporary bridge over the Colorado River was built at Pitkin Avenue connecting the south side of town with the north side. The Garfield County Sheriff’s building should never have been allowed to block that possibility today.
