Letter: Where is the middle?
In response to JM Jesse and Stan Rachesky’s letters of Aug. 14, I felt the need to reply.
Henry David Thoreau once wrote,”You can gauge the health of a society by the trust its members have for each other, even if strangers.”
By the same token, I am reminded of a song by Gerry Rafferty and Joe Egan whose lyrics include,”Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am stuck in the middle with you.”
