Letter: You have a choice what pharmacy to use

With the closing of the Safeway pharmacy, all pharmacy records have been transferred to Walgreens. This may not be the best pharmacy for you. While all your drugs that are covered under your current Medicare D drug plan will still be covered, the cost for individual drugs may be more. Your prescription drug costs (such as co-payments or coinsurance) maybe less at a preferred cost-sharing pharmacy. To find out if Walgreens is a preferred cost sharing pharmacy for your Medicare D drug plan, call your drug plan or review the information your drug plan sent you. You have a choice what pharmacy to use.
