Dear Editor,The mayoral election in Silt presents a clear choice for the voters in that town. There is one candidate that stands above the others when it comes to the characteristics that will make a difference in Silt’s future. That candidate is Dave Moore. I have known Dave and his family for years, and I know that there is no one in Silt who cares more about the town and it’s people than Dave. More importantly though, is Dave’s ability to understand the business of the town, his unflinching courage, and his willingness to take on the toughest issues and be an advocate for the people of the town, not the government of the town. Dave has demonstrated his focus on fiscal responsibility, his openness and availability to help his fellow citizens, and his complete devotion to doing his homework and getting it right. These traits, along with his clear vision for the future of the town, make Dave Moore the best choice for mayor of Silt. The time for a change in leadership is here, and Dave is the right man to lead Silt into a better future. I urge all voters in Silt to cast your ballot for Dave Moore. He will always keep the welfare of the people as his first priority.Duke CoxSilt
