Wright stuffDylan Wright, a third-grader at Highland Elementary in Rifle, obviously has the “Wright stuff” – he took home the gold medal in sparring at the Sereff Taekwondo Tournament in Broomfield on Sept. 17. Dylan dominated, kept his opponents on the run and scored high marks for his fast hands and feet. Dylan is a member of Western Slope Taekwondo.Help for those in needRifle High School senior Zack Sowieja is working on his senior seminar project and is looking for any elderly or disabled people needing help with yardwork or handyman projects. Zack can do electrical, heating, plumbing or construction work. All the labor is free, and Zack is anxious to help out. If you, or someone you know, could benefit from Zack’s help, or would like to donate supplies for his project, call him at 625-9608.Beautiful baby girlLaurel Hogue of Rifle and Roy Romero of Rifle proudly announce the arrival of their daughter, Alexis Sofia Hogue. Alexis was born at 6:38 a.m. Aug. 25, 2004. She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 19 inches long.
