Thanks, you library supportersThe Glenwood Springs Library would like to thank everyone who supported its spring book sale in May. A special thanks goes out to the 37 community members who gave their time and resources to organize the event – they donated more than 250 hours, total. The library also had a big help from A&H Graphics, Big Sid’s Liquor, Butler Rents, City of Glenwood Springs Electric Department, Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association, Print Works, Sandy’s Office Supply, Valley Liquor, and the Youth Recovery Center.All proceeds from the sale go to buy items the library needs. Bouncing baby boy for WhittsProud parents Adam and Mandy Whitt of Rifle recently welcomed a little bundle of joy! Their son, Patrick Michael Whitt was born May 31, 2004, at Valley View Hospital. He was 8 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 1912 inches long. Patrick was also welcomed to the family by grandparents Mike and Jane Whitt of Rifle and Don and Vickie Pennington of New Castle, as well as papa Bob and grandma Jenni Walker of Rifle.Proud parents Adam and Mandy Whitt of Rifle recently welcomed a little bundle of joy!
