McKennis-Ward wedding

Greg McKennis of New Castle announces the wedding of his daughter, Kendra McKennis to Matthew Ward of Rifle. Kendra’s mother was the late Jill Williams of New Castle.The couple were wed Oct. 21, 2006, at the Lodge and Spa at Cordillera near Vail. They honeymooned in Venice and Rome.Kendra works at The Farm Horse Center in New Castle. Matt is an assistant construction supervisor for Village Homes in New Castle. The couple will reside at the McKennis family ranch near New Castle.New grandbaby for MielysJennifer and Michael Chiappini of Gunnison are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Kahne Elliott Chiappini, at 1:08 a.m. Nov. 22, 2006, at Gunnison Valley Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 9.5 ounces and was 20.5 inches long at birth.Proud relatives are grandparents Ken and Patti Miely of Carbondale and David and Marilyn Chiappini of Melrose, Fla.; great-grandparents Robert and Chesta Miely of Sun City, Fla., and William Schell of Minocqua, Wis.Precious baby girlDereck and Tina Cox of Glenwood Springs are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Addison Louise Cox, at 8:24 a.m. Oct. 4, 2006, at Valley View Hospital. She weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 29 inches long at birth.Addison has an older sister, Elise, aged 21 months.Proud grandparents are Harold and Jeannie Cox of New Castle and Craig and Lydia Wade of San Bernardino, Calif.
