Robin and Joe Haney of Glenwood springs are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Jill to Jason Morganfield, son of Dixie and Alan Morganfield of Arvada.

Jill is a 2001 Glenwood Springs High School graduate and received her degree from Colorado State University in May of 2005. Jason is a 2003 graduate of CSU.

The wedding is planned for June 7 at the Hudson Gardens in Littleton, and the couple will make their home in Thornton.

Friends and family of Earl and Donna Dawson are invited to a celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary, to be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at their home at 1433 Jays Ave. in Rifle. No gifts, please.

Jason and Victoria Miller of New Castle are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Hayden Richard Miller, at 10:03 p.m. Jan. 9, 2008, at Valley View Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 20 inches long at birth.

Proud grandparents are Richard and Moira Stewart of Glenwood Springs and Dr. H. Richard and Beverly Miller of Atlanta, Georgia.

Amanda Whiting graduated with honors with a bachelors degree in architecture from CU in Boulder Dec. 21, 2007.

Amanda has been accepted into the graduate school of Architecture at CU, and began her classes Jan. 23.

In addition to attending grad school, Amanda will continue her employment with “OZ Architecture” in Boulder and teaching two freshman/sophomore level architectural studio classes for CU.

Amanda graduated from Glenwood Springs High School in May of 2004. Her parents are Bryan and Kathy Whiting of Glenwood.
