Breann Jerome and Michael ODonnell of Glenwood Springs are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Kaylee Ann Christine ODonnell, at 10:06 p.m. Feb. 27, 2008, at Valley View Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 1.8 ounce, and was 201⁄2 inches long at birth.Big brothers Kamen, 5, and Brady, 3, are happy to have a baby sister.Proud grandparents are Chris and Rick Holub of Glenwood Springs and Kevin and Ann Jerome of Delta.

When Grand Valley High School senior Matt Cain returned home from the recent state wrestling tournament, he found this poster attached to the tree that was planted a few years ago in memory of his late younger brother Joe Cain. The message had been posted by teacher Elaine Callister, friend of the family. Joe is deeply missed by so many.

Coal Ridge High School seniors Zack Mekis and Zach Lyon organized a memorial basketball camp as their high school senior project in memory of Zach Schwartz, another classmate at CRHS who died in 2006 at the age of 16 after a vehicle accident. The camp was held last Saturday at Kathryn Senor Elementary, and monies raised at the Zac-Attack fundraising event have gone to the Zach Schwartz College Scholarship Fund.
