Hilary Henry will attend Duke University this fall with an all-expense (tuition, room, board and mandatory fees) award.The Robertson Scholarship, established by Julian and Josie Robertson of New York, is awarded to students for their intelligence and creativity, leadership strengths, and their will to use their gifts in service to the broader society.Hilary has been active in dance, performing with the Alpine Academy of Dance, the Glenwood Dance Academy and the Eagle Valley High School Dance Team. She is a member of the high school alpine ski team, and has been active in 4-H, the Hugh OBrien Youth Leadership Program, FBLA, and the Leo Club. She co-founded the Hunger Awareness Program at EVHS. During the summer of her junior year, Hilary worked as a volunteer for Amigos de las Americas, doing community service projects in El Menco, Nicaragua.Hilary is the daughter of Kathy Chandler-Henry and George Henry formerly of Silt and now living in Eagle, and granddaughter of George and Marge Chandler of New Castle.

Trent and Teresa Peabody, formally of Glenwood Springs, now of Manila, Philippines, are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Tiernan James Peabody, at 3:53 a.m. March 28, 2008. He weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 20.5 inches long at birth.Proud grandparents are Thom and Toni Peabody of Glenwood Springs, and Ron and Terri Anderson of Longview, Wash.

John Nystrom was pleasantly surprised at his 60th birthday party! We would like to Thank all of you who attended! John was given lotto tickets including a fake one that won him $10,000 to be redeemed by the tooth fairy!
