Happy belated 55th, Eric Hanson of New Castle, June 23, 2008. Thanks for all the packed lunches, trips to the pool, corny jokes, lots of laughs, great paddy nurse care and of course, the booty dances!We love you, your girls Tina and Erin Hanson; and Bogie and Desi.

Dan and Jennifer Enewold of Silt Mesa had an exciting month of May. The longtime area residents attended three college graduations in two weeks.Their daughter, Lindsey Enewold, who currently lives in Kensington, Md., graduated with a Ph.D. in epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University on May 21, 2008. She is currently employed at the U.S. Military Cancer Institute at Walter Reed Hospital. Lindsey was a 1993 graduate of Glenwood Springs High School.Their son, Jason Enewold, a 2003 graduate of Rifle High School, graduated with a bachelor of arts in kinesiology from Mesa State College on May 17, 2008. Jason was also a pitcher for the 2008 Mesa State Mavericks RMAC League Champion baseball team. He will be pursuing a career in sports medicine after interning as the Mavericks Baseball strength and conditioning coach.Their daughter, Taira Enewold, graduated May 10, 2008, from the University of Northern Colorado with a bachelor of science in biology with a biomedical sciences emphasis. Taira is a 2004 graduate of Rifle High School. She will be attending Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Ore., this coming fall.
