Ksana Kyd and Burt Oglesby are pleased to announce their marriage, July 20, 2008, at the Hotel Colorado.The ceremony was presided over by Pastor Roy Altman and attended by family and friends from all over the country, almost all of whom participated in the west coast swing lesson given at the reception.The couple will reside in Glenwood Springs, where Burt is an auto body mechanic at Perris Collision and Ksana is an accountant at Haycock, Sigler & Tapp. A honeymoon in Hawaii is planned for 2009.

Stacie Pink-Waters and Andrew Waters of Silt are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter Maizelynn Ty Pink-Waters at 4:54 p.m. Aug. 20, 2008, at Valley View Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 193⁄4 inches long at birth.Big sister Madison Pink-Waters, 10, is happy to have a new playmate.Proud grandparents are Robert and Caron Fickes of Silt and Veda and Jim Waters of Glenwood Springs.

Mark Nieslanik, of Carbondale, has been elected as a delegate to the 125th annual American Angus Association Convention of Delegates, which will be held Nov. 17 in Louisville, Ky.Nieslanik, a member of the American Angus Association with headquarters in Saint Joseph, Mo., is one of 402 Angus breeders who have been elected by fellow members in their state to serve as a representative at the annual meeting. The annual event is held in conjunction with the annual banquet and the Super Point Roll of Victory Angus show, Nov. 15-18 during the North American International Livestock Exposition.
