Nathan Cheney, son of Jerry and Susie Cheney of Carbondale, graduated Dec. 19 from Colorado State University with a bachelor of applied science degree in construction management. He will be working at Myers and Co. in Basalt.



Scott and Tianna Loeffler of Glenwood Springs are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Dru Elliot Loeffler, born 6:21 p.m. Dec. 9, 2008, at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs. He weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 201⁄2 inches long at birth. Dru was welcomed home with a big hug by his big brother, Kalin, 2.Proud grandparents are Lynn Braunagel of Longmont; Duane and Vicki Braunagel of Longmont; Tim Scheer of Wautoma, Wis.; and Stephanie Scheer of Seattle.
