Bryan Gimbel graduated from Colorado State University Dec. 19, 2008, with a bachelor of science degree in construction management. Bryan is a 1999 graduate of Roaring Fork High School, and is the son of Greg and Pat Gimbel of Rifle. Bryan has accepted a position with MWH Global Construction Division as a field engineer.

Lesley Morse was recently selected 2008 Lion of the Year by the New Castle Lions Club. She was selected for the prestigious award in part due to her many years of loyal, dedicated service to the club, as well as the tremendous spirit of serving that she exhibits.Lesley lives in Silt and is employed at Alpine Bank in New Castle.

Florindos Restaurant in downtown Glenwood Springs would like to thank the community for 20 years of continued support. The restaurants 20th anniversary was Jan. 5, 2009. Florent and Roza invite the public to stop by for dinner Monday through Saturday and enjoy Florindos authentic southern and northern Italian cuisine, and remind everyone Florindos is still here to serve you.



Dave and Tayler Collard of New Castle would like to announce the birth of their second son, Tasen Charles Collard, at 11:58 a.m. Dec. 31, 2008, at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs. He weighed 7 pounds, 11.8 ounces, and was 19 inches long at birth. Tasen was welcomed home by big brother, Cohen, 21⁄2. Proud grandparents are Roxene Gray of New Castle, Dave Collard of Rifle and Wayne and Janice Long of Rifle.
