Dear Editor,

Dr. Pack is totally amazing in that he and his staff fed the voters of the Garfield Re-2 school district a lot of information that was not quite as it actually was in the election in November of 2003.

The voters weren’t fooled and the bill was voted down. Yes, the people knew what they were voting for in spite of Dr. Pack’s comment in the Citizen Telegram that they didn’t.

First, he assumes the people couldn’t figure out the logistics of the bill (is that a nice way of calling the voters stupid?). Now he is saying the people are dumb, and Dr. Pack wants to put the override back on the ballot in November.

The voters of Re-2 can still remember and the situation in this area is still the same. Shame on Dr Pack for assuming the voters in Re-2 “didn’t know what they were voting for.”
