What good is sitting alone in your room? Come to the Club Cabaret for an evening of dessert theater featuring the singing and dancing talents of community performers. The original production “Stairway to Heaven” will be presented at St. Mary Parish Community Center, 7th and Birch streets, Rifle, at 7 and 9 p.m. on Friday, April 16. Seating will begin at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m., and patrons are encouraged to arrive early for best table seating. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and children under 12, which includes dessert and beverage. Proceeds will be used to help build an exit stairway at the community center.
Mountain Sounds Barbershop Chorus presents “Barbershop Magic,” its annual spring concert, held at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 10 at Glenwood Springs High School auditorium. The concert features performances by Rocky Tops, Just Between Friends and Mountain Harmony, a ladies’ a cappella harmony chorus. Guest quartet is Maxim, from Salt Lake City.
