An Irish potato bake and bake sale will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, March 19, at the Masonic Temple (901 Colorado Ave.). Potato, toppings, salad and dessert, $5.

Aspen Center for Environmental Studies Potbelly Perspective Series presents “Antlered Animals of the Rocky Mountains,” a presentation by Rick Lofaro, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 18, at the ACES center on Hallam Lake. Lofaro, water quality coordinator for the Roaring Fork Conservancy, will show off his huge antler collection. $3 for adults, $2 for children. Information: 925-5756.

Members of the Roaring Fork Audubon Society will look for wintering and migrating waterfowl during their monthly field trip on Saturday, March 20. Destinations on the half-day trip will include Spring Park Reservoir, Ranch at the Roaring Fork, Coryell Ranch and Blue Lake. Interested persons can join the group when they meet at the CMC Lappala Center in Carbondale at 9 a.m.

All Valley Music Together invites families with young children to two Family Jam Parties on Saturday, March 20: 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Gyminikids in Basalt and 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the Glenwood Springs Recreation Center. Everyone is welcome to sing, dance, play instruments, and celebrate with your little ones. $5 suggested donation. Information: 963-1482.

Spellbinders is presenting Laura Simms, one of the premier professional storytellers in the world at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, at the Aspen Chapel. The performance will be followed by a reception. Tickets are $10.
