Ashley (Elshof) Stone is a local young lady who recently moved to Laramie, Wyo., so her husband, Kalani, can attend WyoTech. The move looks like a good one as Ashley won the Mrs. Laramie-America title. Ashley will represent Laramie in the annual state pageant in May at the Cheyenne Civic Center, with the chance to move on to the national Mrs. America Pageant.Ashley is looking for sponsors. James Whitehead of Rifle has joined 200 middle school students from around the United States this weekend in Washington, D.C., for the Junior National Youth Leaders Conference. James will study leadership throughout American history and attend presentations from people in high-level positions as well as other youths about leadership.
