A party is being thrown, and all of Bill’s friends are invited! Bill Porter, the Trapper (and retired fireman) is celebrating his 75th birthday with an open house at the New Castle Recreation Center on Sunday, Feb. 22, from 1-6 p.m.

All-State Choir members selected

Three students from Glenwood Springs High School recently were selected to the Colorado High School All-State Choir during three days of intense auditions in Fort Collins. More than 2,000 juniors and seniors from across Colorado competed for spots in this top choir. The all-state choir students are senior Molly Ackerman, junior Daniel Bailey and junior Jackie Collier. The students are under the direction of choral music teacher Jeannie Miller.
