Welcome, Brady Jerome

Brady William Jerome was born March 31, 2004, at Valley View Hospital to Breann Jerome and Michael O’Donnell. The 5-pound, 9-ounce Brady was welcomed by his big sister Kamen.

Brady’s grandparents are Chris Jerome of Glenwood Springs, and Kevin and Ann Marie Jerome of Grand Junction.

Brady has three great-grandparents and many others who love him.

Preston Shane Heald

Ashley and Leroy Heald, of Silt, are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Preston Shane Heald. Shane was born on March 30, 2004, and weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce and was 21 inches long.

Preston’s grandparents are Robyn and Shane Nicholson of Rifle and Vernon and Priscilla Heald of Silt.

College cash for caddies

Sean Kulzer and David Rice both received the 2004 Evans Caddie Scholarship, which is offered to student caddies at the Roaring Fork Club in Basalt.

To win the Evans Caddie Scholarship students must be in the top 25 percent of their class, be an outstanding caddie for a least two years, and have top recommendations from their club.

Kulzer and Rice need to keep up the good work and earn at least a B average in college to renew the scholarship after their first year.
