Michelle Cerise, of Fort Collins, flew to Boston last Thursday from her Peace Corps youth development assignment in Granada where she has been training for the Boston Marathon. She successfully finished the grueling race in 4 hours, 27 minutes, and 48 seconds, an overall pace of 9:47 per mile. Michelle is the daughter of proud parents John and Linda Cerise of Carbondale.
Angela Christine Aibner of Rifle accepted membership in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and will be honored this fall at Colorado State University. The NSCS recognizes first- and second-year undergraduates who excel academically.
