Not only was the Glenwood Canyon Shuffle a great day for the folks who ran the race, it was also a great day for Literacy Outreach. The Glenwood Springs Afternoon Rotary Club donated $1,000 to Literacy Outreach following the Shuffle on Oct. 9.

Helen Wilson, a longtime resident of Glenwood Springs, turns 94 years old today. Her family sent Mountain Mailbag a note and picture:

“She’s our Great-Grandma that we adore

Come this Friday she turns Ninety-Four

Happy Birthday from Jesse, Trevor and Hunter!”
