Last month Wal-Mart door greeter Sara Claussen presented the Kiwanis Club of Glenwood Springs’ Jeff Leonard a check for $1,500. The money will go toward a civic and veterans grant.
Daniel Richardson, president of Sustainable Design Concepts Inc. in Glenwood Springs, was awarded the prestigious 2005 American Marshall Memorial Fellowship. Daniel was one of 55 leaders from 19 states and the District of Columbia to win the award. The 2005 American Marshall Memorial Fellows will spend three weeks of intensive study examining European institutions and exploring European and trans-Atlantic economic, political, and social issues.
