Hot Springs honors employee Ian Hess, a certified pool operator and a certified lifeguard, is on the pool maintenance staff and an active member of the awards and safety committees.Hess shares about himself, As a son of a Marine officer, I traveled all over the USA, and to Okinawa, Japan, in my youth. After college in Los Angeles, I went to Japan for eight years as an English teacher and a translator. During that time, my father retired here. I had always wanted to live in the mountains, so, after Japan, I decided to come here. I have been at the Hot Springs Lodge & Pool for two years, and I love working here.
