A renaissance weddingJoan and Edwin Workman, of Virginia Beach, Va., parents of Kathy A. Watson, wish to announce the wedding of their daughter to Matthew M. Provost.Kathy was raised in Virginia Beach, Va., and moved to Glenwood Springs in 1996. Matthew is the son of Robert and Marci Provost, of New Castle. He was born in Colorado and raised in the Glenwood Springs area. The couple plans to remain in the area after the wedding.The Renaissance ceremony will be held at the Canterbury Chapel at the Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 2. A reception will follow the ceremony. Join us in celebrating this wonderful event. Renaissance attire is not necessary, but encouraged.It’s a girlEmily Ann Strong was born Dec. 14, 2004, in Grand Junction. Her parents are Bonnie Strong and Phill Morford. Her maternal grandparents are Flor and John E. Strong, of Rifle, and her parental grandparents are Ann and BJ Warren, of Rifle. She weighed 6 pounds and was 19 inches long at birth.Happy birthdayHappy 1st birthday, Joey Winters; you have made this the happiest year of our lives.
