Rifle High School alumna Jenny Barker, who majors in art, made the winter dean’s list at Fort Lewis College.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must attain a grade-point average of 3.4 or higher in not less than 14 hours of graded credit, and must have completed all work by the end of the semester.

Colorado Rocky Mountain School alumna Eleanor Perry, who majors in cellular and molecular biology, earned a spot on the winter dean’s list at Fort Lewis College.

Brandon Hampton and Jennifer Aponick, of Glenwood Springs, announce the birth of their son, Jeremy Scott Hampton, at 2:16 a.m. on Feb. 17, 2005, at Valley View Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 19 inches long at birth.

His grandparents are Lisa and Timothy Warner of Hesperia, Calif.; Carrie Jo Dillon of Apple Valley, Calif.; and Paul Hampton of Paso Robles, Calif.
