Bridges High School graduating senior Nicole Grosjean, of Basalt, has won a $15,000 Philip J. Steele Memorial Scholarship to the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, a four-year school in Denver. She plans to study 3-D animation and sculpture. She won the scholarship in the Glenwood Springs Art Guild annual fall festival when she entered her artwork in a special student section.

The Glenwood Springs Art Guild recently mailed out the applications for this year’s Fall Art Festival. If you have not received your application and would like to enter the show this year, contact Portia Griefenberg at 945-0393, or pick up an entry form at the Chamber Resort Association or your local art store. The Fall Art Festival will be set up at the Ramada Inn Sept. 21-25.
