Longtime Glenwood Springs residents George and Helen Wilson celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary Monday, June 13.

They have spent almost all of their married life in Glenwood Springs.

June 13 was an extra special day for Helen, as she received a pin and certificate to celebrate her 75th year with the Order of the Eastern Star. Helen joined the Eastern Star when she was 18 years old.

Eric and Shanley Mangeot, of Glenwood Springs, are pleased to announce the birth of their son Avner Thomas Mangeot on May 13 at Valley View Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, 91⁄2 ounces, and was 191⁄2 inches long at birth.

His big brother is Owen David, who is 2 years old. His proud grandparents are Penny and Chuck Donelan, of Glenwood Springs, and Frank and Marie Mangeot, of West Cliff.

Kelly (Randol) McClean, a graduate of Glenwood Springs High School, received a Master of Science from Hofstra University, in Hempstead, N.Y.

She graduated with distinction, having a grade-point average of 4.0 in a four-point system.

Kelly works for the North Shore Hospital on Long Island, N.Y., and lives with her husband, Peter McClean, in Queens.
