Matthew P. Petree, son of Debbie L. and Troy G. Petree, of Rifle, recently enlisted in the U.S. Navy under the Delayed Entry Program at Navy Recruiting District in Denver.
Matt graduates from Sea Cadet Corpsman School in San Luis Obispo, Calif., today, which qualifies him as an E-3.
Petree will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy’s Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill., after graduation from Rifle High School in 2006. He will serve in the Fleet Marine Force as a medic for the Marines.
William Eiten, son of Ken and Debbie Eiten, of Rifle, graduated from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles on May 13.
Eiten graduated with a major in computer science and a minor in video game programming.
He is working for Blue Label Games in Los Angeles.
