Kurt and Meghan Backofen, of Glenwood Springs, announce the birth of their son, Mykel Keelan Backofen at 10:38 p.m. June 28, 2005, at Valley View Hospital.
He weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 18 inches long at birth.
Grandparents are Jeanne and Hank Backofen, of Boston, Judith and Robert Bruner, of Denver, and Daniel and Kathy Hurley, of St. Louis.
