Roy and Melissa Haycock of New Castle are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Cole Alan Haycock, at 1:25 a.m. Aug. 12, 2005. He weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 20 inches long at birth.

Cole joins sisters Ashley and Megan.

Proud grandparents are Cliff and Barbara Haycock, of Glenwood Springs, and Roy and Rena Miller, of Gypsum.

Navy Seaman Recruit Steven C. Schell, son of Lynda L. and John M. Schell, of Rifle, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Schell is a 2004 graduate of Rifle High School.

The Open Door Fellowship invites everyone to a revival with Deon Hockey from South Africa. The event will start at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11 and continue at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 12-16.
