Jeremiah Jackson and Sarah Stokes, of Glenwood Springs, are pleased to announce the birth of their baby girl, Iszabelle Grace Jackson, at 6:02 a.m. Sept. 6, 2005, at Valley View Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 20 inches long at birth.

Proud relatives are grandma Gretchen Aigner, uncle Jared Aigner, and aunt Jabrey Stokes, all of Glenwood Springs; and grandma Jeanneta Stokes and aunts Katie, Erin Stokes and uncle Ethan Stokes, all of Roseburg, Ore.

Cpl. Cody and Arisa Mortensen are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Sasha Ine Mortensen, on Sept. 3, 2005, in Okinawa, Japan. She weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 20.5 inches long at birth.

Proud grandparents are Sieko and Mieko Sakiyama, of Okinawa, and Dan and Stacy Mortensen, of Petaluma, Calif. Great-grandparents are John and Dolores Huebinger, of Glenwood Springs, and Harold Mortensen, of Silt.

Cody is a native of Glenwood Springs, serving with the U.S. Marine Corps.
