Jim Davalos and Melissa Terry

Benny and Tamaira Terry, of Rifle, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Terry, to Jim Davalos, son of Jesus and Luz Davalos, of La Quinta, Calif.

They are planning an early March wedding.

Richard Adamson and Charlene Braswell are proud to announce the arrival of their baby boy, Jesse Dean Braswell, born Sept. 13, 2005, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction. He weighed 6 pounds, 2.2 ounces, and was 181⁄2 inches long.

Proud grandparents are Erik and Suzanne Braswell, of New Castle; great-grandparents Leona Braswell, of Fort Lupton, and Tom and Merlinda Castillo, of Arvada; and great-great grandmother Margaret Williams, of Clifton.

Larry and Pam Strohmeyer, of Rifle, Barb and Greg Keller, of Glenwood, Springs, and Will Brandes Sr., of Austin, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement of Becky Strohmeyer and Will Brandes.

Becky is a 1996 graduate of Rifle High School, and Will is a 1996 graduate of Glenwood Springs High School. They currently live in Greeley.

A late summer 2006 wedding is planned.

Army Pvt. Todd C. Stoner has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

He is the son of Shirley Stoner, of Rifle, and James Stoner, of Silt, and a 2005 graduate of Rifle High School.

Army Pvt. Jeffrey L. Payne Jr. has graduated from the Light-wheeled Vehicle Mechanic Advanced Individual Training (AIT) course at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Payne is the son of Debby and Jeffrey L. Payne of Silt.
