Sanya and Luis Polar are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Ana Sophia Polar, born 10:10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, at Valley View Hospital. She weighed a mere 9 pounds 2 ounces, and was 20 inches long. Big brother is Nicolas Gabriel; proud grandparents are Luis and Irma Polar of San Juan, Puerto Rico and Betty Gregg of Mesquite, Nev.
Ryan and Dorota Swartzendruber, of Chicago, are the proud parents of Jon Paul Swartzendruber, born Sept. 16, 2005. He weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 22 inches long at birth.He is the little brother of Ania Maria Swartzendruber and the grandson of proud grandparents Sherell and Jon Swartzendruber, of Glenwood Springs, and Helena and Andrzej Skinderowicz, of Schiller Park, Ill. He is the great-grandson of Katherine Westley, of Glenwood Springs, Shirley and Leo Swartzendruber, of Grand Junction, and Maria Kadzik, of Glenview, Ill.
