Mike and Jayme Goscha, of Carbondale, are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Tess Jaclene Goscha, at 1:55 p.m. Nov. 17, 2005, at Valley View Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 19 1/2 inches long at birth.Tess has a big brother, Trent, who is 2 years old.Proud grandparents are Ron and Darlene Goscha, of Carbondale, Jacque Fosdick, of Fowler, and Jan and Linda Fosdick, of Fowler. Great-grandma is Leona Karst, of Great Bend, Kan.

Navy Seaman Recruit Forrest R. Kelly, son of Cindy M. Bronner, of Colorado Springs, and Robert J. McCarten, of Silt, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.Kelly is a 2004 graduate of Coronado High School of Colorado Springs.
