You could be a winner!

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Glenwood Springs is expecting its 100,000th visitor this week. Yes, almost 100,000 folks have ridden the Iron Tramway to the caverns since the tramway opened in April. To celebrate, the 100,000th visitor will receive his or her choice of a party for 10 at Exclamation Point Restaurant or a $150 gift certificate to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. The wearing of the red (and white)

Glenwood Springs High School Football Parents plan to honor alumni at the homecoming game Friday, Oct. 3. Alumni are asked to wear red and white (Demon colors) and meet in the multi-purpose room at 6 p.m. Be there or be square.

Whigham accepted to grad school

Michael Whigham has been accepted for graduate studies at Antioch New England Graduate School in Keene, N.H. He will pursue a master’s of science in environmental studies, specializing in environmental education. He has a bachelor’s degree in outdoor education from Western State College in Gunnison.
