Mr. and Mrs. Donald T. Click of Glenwood Springs, and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Goeking of Raleigh, N.C., are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, William Donald Click and Janet Joy Goeking. Will proposed on the shore of Lake Michigan on Sept. 7, 2005, and they will be married in Raleigh on July 29. William is a representative for IBM, and the couple will reside in Atlanta.William graduated from Glenwood Springs High School in 2002 and received his bachelor of arts degree in business economics from Wheaton College May 7. While at Wheaton, Will was the sophomore and junior class president and interned for Congressman Scott McInnis in Washington, D.C.Janet received her bachelor of arts degree in communications political science from Wheaton College May 7.

An open house to celebrate Loyal’s birthday will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at the Rifle firehouse. Come by and wish Loyal a happy 90th.

Bernie and Georgia Haines were married March 31, 1946, in Adrian, Mich., and have lived in Glenwood Springs since 1962. Both were school teachers at Basalt and Glenwood Springs high schools. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a dinner party at The Redstone Inn, hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Katrina Haines and Bruce Wampler, and grandchildren Van and Risa Wampler of Glenwood Springs.
