Jennifer Danielle Davidson, daughter of Fred and Jeanette Davidson of New Castle, and Steven Reid Coggins, son of John and Janet Coggins of Greensboro, N.C., were married Aug. 5 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Southport, N.C.
The bride’s gown was a Casablanca design with a sweetheart neckline and a chapel train embossed with seed pearls and amethyst stones, intertwined with silver thread. The bride’s attendants wore tea-length lavender dresses.
The matron of honor was Nicole Graziano, friend of the bride, from Erie. Bridesmaids were Jenni Turnidge, friend of the bride, from Parker, and Susan Norris, sister of the groom, from Marietta, Ga. Best man was John Coggins, father of the groom, from Greensboro, N.C. Groomsmen were Travis Stewart, business partner of the groom, from Longmont, and David Coggins, brother of the groom, from Louisville, Ky. Flower girl was Joy Graziano, friend of the bride.
The reception was held at Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. The couple honeymooned in Ocean Isle Beach and returned home to Erie. Steve is a graduate of North Carolina State University in civil engineering and earned his master’s degree in civil engineering at the University of Colorado. He is the co-owner of Coggins-Stewart Construction, a developer and design-build company. Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado and is currently attending University of Colorado Nursing School at Denver.
Kai Gentry Swart was born July 27, weighing 8 pounds, 5.3 ounces and measuring 20.75 inches long. Elizabeth, Brad and Hunter Swart welcome their new baby boy to the family.
Peyton Wayne Rauman was born July 31, weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces. His proud parents are Rusty and Monica Rauman.
