Jared and Jennifer Street of Silt are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Street, at 8:20 a.m. January 30, 2007, at Valley View Hospital. She weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces and was 21 inches long at birth.Rachel’s big brother, Kade, who is 2 years old, is happy for a new playmate.Proud grandparents are Bob and Becky Bloomfield of New Castle and Judy Street of Glenwood Springs.

Karl and Amy Roggie of New Castle are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Jacob Michael Roggie, on Jan. 24, 2007, at Aspen Valley Hospital. Jacob weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and was 19.5 inches long at birth.Jacob was welcomed into the family by his big brother Matthew and proud local grandparents Muriel Roggie and Al and Linda Stoltzfus, all of Glenwood Springs.



The family of Laura Nee Garner is pleased to announce her engagement to Jason Sakry, son of Dean and Janice Sakry of Kabetogama, Minn. Laura is the daughter of the late Susan Garner of Glenwood Springs and a 1996 graduate of Glenwood Springs High School. Laura and Jason currently reside in Englewood, where Laura teaches accounting at the University of Denver, and Jason is an independent financial advisor. A July 2 wedding is planned in Evergreen.
