Autumn Evans and Nicholas Lough exchanged vows March 10, 2007. Parents are Shane and Deborah Evans and Brent and Roxanne Lough, all of Carbondale.

Lt. Logan Draves of Carbondale graduated pilot training and was awarded his “wings” in the United States Air Force though the Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi, Texas, on March 16, 2007.



Logan is a 2000 graduate of Roaring Fork High School and 2005 graduate of the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He will soon go on to Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska for intensive training in the C-12 aircraft and then on to Yakota Air Force Base in Japan.

The HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation recently announced its new board member appointments. New board members include Marci Reardon on HERA’s Working Board and Angela Goodacre Donini and Michael Reardon on HERA’s National Advisory Board.



The HERA Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, whose mission is to stop the loss of mothers, daughters, wives, sisters, partners and girlfriends from ovarian cancer by empowering women to take control of their health, empowering the medical community to find new directions in ovarian cancer research and empowering communities to provide support. Brownies were allowed to donate cookies to anyone of their choice, and they came to a unanimous decision to send the cookies to the soldiers in Iraq. The girls collected 175 boxes of cookies in six hours. Generous citizens bought one or two cases of cookies at a time and donated them back to the troop to send to the soldiers. This was a very heartwarming experience for the troop.
