Jerry and Ann English of Glenwood Springs are pleased to announce the marriage of their son, Brett Marvin English, to Amanda Erin Lovelady, daughter of Chuck and Janis Lovelady of Spokane, Wash., March 22, 2007, on a frozen lake in Byers State Park, Alaska.

Amanda is originally from Spokane, and graduated from Washington State University in 1999 with a degree in hotel and restaurant administration. She is general manager of the McKinley Village Lodge in Denali Park, Alaska.

Brett grew up in Carbondale and graduated from Yampah Mountain High School in 1995. He received a degree in gunsmithing from Trinidad State Junior College in 1998. Brett is a fishing guide in the Talkeetna, Alaska, area and will be working in Denali Park this summer.



Brett says he lives the Alaskan Dream ” he has a wife and a truck that both work! He can fish and take care of their Alaskan Malamute, Ayla.

Grant and Chelsey Heuschkel of Glenwood Springs are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Austin Charles Heuschkel, at 12:18 a.m. April 1, 2007, at Aspen Valley Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 19 inches long at birth.



Proud grandparents are Chuck and Bonnie Lewis of Glenwood Springs and Kath Onal of Denver.
