Mountain Mailbag
Special Olympics, a series of events for physically and mentally disabled kids and adults, was held April 28 in Grand Junction. Teams from all over the state competed in activities which included relay races, obstacle courses, walks and dashes, and a tennis ball throw.
Most of the team members from our valley are employed at Safeway and Mountain Valley Weavers in Glenwood Springs.
