All Saints’ groundbreaking

On Sunday, May 2, the congregation from All Saints’ Episcopal church gathered at the site for their new church. Reverend Bruce Moncrieff led parishioners in hymns, prayers, and scriptures and turned the first spade in the groundbreaking.

Awesome artists

Amber Pagni, Emma Ramsey, Sabrina Dodeso, Karissa Orth, Rodaura Rodriguez, and Dixie Hooguin each participated in the Roy Moore Elementary Parents Association Third Annual Art Auction. The six fifth-graders helped raise $2,722.65 for their school’s art program. Nancy Page at Main Street Art Gallery deserves a big thanks for framing the art.

“Postings” is the place for news of events, meetings and programs that people living in the Roaring Fork and Colorado River valleys should know about. Upcoming events appear once in Postings and then move on in a brief form to our FYI calendar. These items are edited by Dan Thomas.

“Mountain Mailbag” is the place for news about people: births, engagements, weddings, anniversaries, retirements, military and academic honors, vacations, pets and goofy stuff. Ryan Graff edits Mailbag submissions.
