Dan and Mari Brennan-Combs of Glenwood Springs and Gerry and Dixie Zehner of Bailey are pleased to announce the wedding of their children, Luree Brennan-Combs and Brian Zehner, on Aug. 2, 2007, at Hudson Gardens in Littleton.The newlyweds honeymooned in Jamaica.Luree is a 1999 graduate of Glenwood Springs High School and received her teaching degree from the University of Northern Colorado. Brian graduated from Platte Canyon High School and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado.The couple resides in Littleton. Luree is a fourth-grade teacher at Shaffer Elementary School in Littleton, and Brian is employed by Mercury Co.

Ana L. Broyles of Carbondale is one of three women to receive a $1,000 scholarship in the fourth annual Car Care Women’s Board high school scholarship program. Broyles is a recent graduate of Roaring Fork High School in Carbondale. The Women’s Board awards scholarships to women who are pursuing an education to prepare them for a career in the automotive industry. Applications were available to female high school seniors who will be attending an ASE certified, post-secondary automobile technology program with plans to enter the automotive field upon graduation. Broyles competed with female students from across the country for the scholarship.
